Este corte mueve tres paquetes de cartas al cortar, pero deja la baraja en su orden original. El video a continuación me muestra practicando el corte en Starbucks, sin sonido. Este corte es más difícil de suavizar que "Drawn and Quartered".
Hold the deck in the right hand by the thumb and middle fingers near the right side. This cut uses three packets which will be referred to as packets 1, 2, and three from the top of the deck.
With the left first finger spin cut about two thirds of the deck off the top. These cards pivot around the right middle finger.
The top two thirds (packets 1 and 2) are taken by the left hand between the left thumb and fingers in preparation for a Charlier cut.
Drop packet two as if you were going to do a Charlier cut, but instead of cutting you are going pivot packet 1 around your left first finger with your right middle finger. At the same time you keep your grip on packet 3 with the right middle finger and right thumb.
At the completion of the spin the right hand holds two packets. Packet 3 is on top of packet 1 and side jogged. Packet 2 is held in the left hand.
Now turn both wrists slightly clockwise and put your left first finger on the inner left corner of the top packet in the right hand (packet 3.) Start to spin cut that packet around your right middle finger.
At the completion of the spin, the left hand has taken the packet in a Charlier cut position. So now the right hand holds packet 1, the left hand has packet 3 between the left thumb and fingers, and packet 2 is on the base of the left fingers.
The right hand moves its packet between the left hand packets. For a brief moment the packets in the left hand are, from the top down, packets 2, 1, and 3. The right hand lifts the top two packets up (2 and 1) with packet 2 side jogged to the left.
Now turn both wrists slightly clockwise and put your left first finger on the inner left corner of the top packet in the right hand (packet 2.) Start to spin cut that packet around your right middle finger. This is the same action taken earlier. Instead of using your left first finger, you can instead use your left thumb, which is what I am doing in the photo.
At the completion of the spin, simply let the packet (2) fall on top of the cards in the left hand (packet 3.)
