Falso corte dibujado pero no descuartizado

This is similar to the false cut “drawn and quartered“, but instead of four packets, it only uses three and is a little easier. Below is a video.

Holding the deck in your left hand at the finger tips, riffle off about a third with your thumb. Tilt and let these fall onto you right hand.

Riffle off a third of the deck.

Let these cards fall face up on your right finger tips.

Then flip them face down with your left finger tips so that they fall into the right hand palm face down.

The cards in your left hand are in position to start a Charlier cut. Start the cut. As the cut starts use your right thumb to begin to flip over the cards in the right hand.

As the Charlier cut is about half way done, just before the lower portion is finished levering up, the right hand cards are flipped over landing on the tips of the left hand and then continuing to flip over onto the top portion of the left hand cards.

right hand cards being flipped onto the top portion of the left hand cards, just before the two left hand blocks are transposed.

As the right hand cards fall on top the left hand starts to complete the cut, transposing the lower block with those above.

In the photo above note the position of the of the right hand. As the cut completes, the right fingers are going to catch and hold the new top block, only for an instance.

The right hand rotates the block it is holding so the left hand can grip them in a Charlier cut position. This only takes a moment and the left hand immediately finishes the cut, returning the deck to its original order.
