En esta publicación, generalizo ese método para colocar los ases donde se desee.

Let’s say you want the aces at the 5th, 13th, 17th and 26th locations. The pattern would then be 4 A 7 A 3 A 8 A, that is four cards, the an Ace, seven more cards, an Ace, three more cards, an Ace, and finally 8 more cards and the last Ace. In short hand, the pattern is 4738.

With three Aces on top and one on the bottom start your stack shuffle.

Add the last two numbers, the 3 and 8. Undercut half the deck, in-jog the top card of the deck, an Ace, and shuffle off 11 cards onto it (3+8). Run one card out-jogged and shuffle off so the last card, an Ace, is on top. You now have an in-jog and an out-jog. Take a break with your right thumb under the injog and take all the cards under the out-jog to begin the second overhand shuffle. Run the fourth number (8) and throw off to the thumb break.

Run one card (an Ace), injog the next (an Ace) and run off the total of the first two numbers (4+7=11). Outjog the next and shuffle off.

Cut at the injog and throw on top.

Cut at the outjog and run the second number (7) and throw the rest on top. The Aces are now in the positions you want.

So the basic formula is to take the four numbers, shuffle off the last total of the last two, run the last number, run the total of the first two, and run the second number.

So lets look at stacking the aces for five hands of Texas hold-em. For this we want the cards in this pattern: 4 A 4 A 3 A 1 A.

With the aces in the starting position of three on top and one on the bottom.

Undercut half the deck and as you begin your shuffle, injog the top Ace. Run 4 cards (3+1), outjog and shuffle off to the last Ace.

Take a right thumb break under the injogged card and undercut the deck at the outjog.

Run one card, injog the next, and run 9 cards (5+4), outjog the next and shuffle off.

Cut at the injog and throw on top.

Cut at the outjog and run 4 cards and throw on top.

You are now set to deal. Deal two rounds of five hands and your hand will hold two aces. Burn the next card and deal the flop. An ace will the the last card of the river. Burn the next card and deal the turn, which will be the last Ace. Burn the next and deal the river.

If you want the last Ace on the river then the pattern would be:

5 A 4 A 3 A 3 A, or 5433.

So for a six handed game the pattern would be 5533, and for a four handed game it would be 3333.

These patterns can also be used for riffle stacking or using a Zarrow shuffle stack.

A couple of years ago I wrote a post titled “Finding the aces with Erdnase” where I used Erdnase’s system of overhand shuffle to stack the aces at know positions in the deck.
