Se coloca boca arriba para mostrar los ases, y luego boca abajo para insertarlos en la baraja. A continuación, se corta y se baraja una vez. Los cuatro ases vuelven a colocarse sobre la baraja. Una alternativa es simular un reparto central.

Display the four aces face up in your right hand. The rest of the deck is face down in your left hand. As you show the aces, pushed off the top three cards of the deck and take little finger break below them.

Place the face up aces on top of the deck.

Square up the aces and take them in a Biddle grip, adding the three face down cards. Biddle switch the top three aces for the three face down cards. (Your left thumb pulls an ace to the left, face up onto the deck. Just before the ace is pulled completely away from the right hand, your right hand uses the cards it holds to flip the pulled off ace face down. The last ace with three hidden face down cards is dropped on top of the deck and the right hand takes the top card, a face up ace, and flips it face down.)

Situation check: from the top of the deck there is an ace, three indifferent cards, followed by the three remaining aces.

Take the top card, an ace, and insert it in the front of the deck, near the bottom. Since this is an ace you can flash its face. Leave the card projecting about half its length.

The next three cards on top of the deck are indifferent cards, but your spectators think they are aces. Take the next card from the top and insert a little further up the deck than the first ace you inserted. Make sure that you do not flash its face. Repeat the process for the next two cards.

Four cards are protruding from the front of the deck. The lowest is an ace, the other three are indifferent cards. With the deck face down in your left hand place your right middle finger tip at the lower right corner of the protruding ace and pull gently as you turn your left hand over to display the aces. By pulling up with the right finger you ensure that the spectators can only see the index of lower ace.

Turn the deck face down and with your right fingers push the protruding cards flush. As you push the cards in, your left first finger presses up the lower right corner of the deck and your left middle finger presses down on the upper right corner of the deck. This pinching action will cause the protruding cards to pivot as you pushed them into the deck. This lets you take a break below the lower ace half you square up the cards.

Transfer the break to right thumb and lift one-third of the cards with your right first finger. The deck is now divided into thirds. Swing cut the top third to the break (leaving the bottom block of cards in the left hand the top third falls on top of them), and drop the middle third of the deck on top.

As you drop the middle third let your left ring finger contact the face of the bottom card (the ace) and side jog it to the right. Then square the cards and take a break above side-jogged card. Then in a continuous action split the deck apart at the break and shuffle, letting the top four cards of the left hand packet fall last. The aces are now back on top.

An alternative handing, after you have switched the three indifferent cards, is to take the top card, an Ace and as you take it get a break below the top three cards (it can be below the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth cards.) Show the ace and using Marlo’s tilt technique insert it from the rear into the break. To the spectators it appears as if you inserted the card into the center of the deck. Take the next three cards one at a time and insert them into the deck from the rear. You now have four aces on top.

If you switch four cards instead of three, you will end up with an indifferent card on top of the four aces. You can then show the top indifferent card, leave it face up and demonstrate “center” dealing, by dealing seconds.

Effect: Four aces are displayed on top of the deck.
