Es fácil de hacer y es un poco diferente a las rutinas de "Cortemos los ases".

Efecto:

The four aces are lost in the deck and then discovered magically

Método

Take a shuffled deck and spread through it removing the four aces. As you do cut any seven to the bottom of the deck. Have the spectator examine the aces and as they do you reverse the seven on the bottom, turning it face up.

There are many ways of doing that. One way I use is to hold the deck face down in my left hand and take a right thumb break above the seven. Holding the deck on the ends of my left fingers, I insert my little finger into the break, and by closing the fingers the card is turned over under the cover of the deck. This can also be done without inserting the little finger, just let the seven drop to the left finger tips and close the fingers to turn over the card.

With the deck face down and the seven reversed, cut the deck into four roughly equal piles. Keep track of the pile with the face down seven. Pick up any of the other piles and take the Ace of Spades from the spectator. Spread the packet face down and insert the Ace below six cards. As you do this, count over three more cards that are below the inserted ace and then count the remaining cards. So for example, if your packet had 14 cards, then after inserting the Ace there would be eight cards below the ace. Counting three more cards under the ace leaves five cards. Remember this number.

Square up the packet and have the spectator drop the Ace of Hearts on top of the packet. Pick up the packet with the reversed seven and drop it on top of the cards you are holding.

Now have the spectator select either of the two remaining packets and drop it on top of the cards you are holding. Ask the spectator for the Ace of Clubs, and has you do, get a break under the top card. Place the Ace of Clubs on top and double cut the two top cards to the bottom of the cards you are holding.

Have the spectator take the last ace and drop it on top of the last packet of cards, and then drop the cards you are holding on top.

Tell the spectator that the aces have been lost into the deck, obviously not together. Tell them that your could, with sleight of hand and cheating techniques find the aces, but you rather use magic.

Pass your hand over the cards “casting a shadow”, and explain that one card has turned face up. The spectators will expect it to be an Ace. Spread the cards face down across the table exposing the face up seven. Act disappointed.

Comment that sevens are powerful cards. There are seven wonders of the ancient world, seven deadly sins, seven venereal diseases, etc.

As you are making the comments, break the spread above the face up seven and turn those cards face up in a pile. Now gather the left hand cards with the face up seven into your left hand, getting a break below the face down card under the face up seven. Take the seven and the card below it in a biddle grip (a double lift) and drop them onto of the face up cards on the table. Hidden under the face up seven is the face down Ace of Hearts.

Tell the audience that maybe the seven is trying to tell you something. Deal six cards face up off the face down cards, one at a time onto the seven. Deal the seventh card to reveal the Ace of Spades. Place the Ace of Spades aside.

Turn face up the cards in your left hand and drop them onto the face up cards on the table and then turn all of the cards face down again. Tell the audience you will try again. Cast another magical shadow over the cards and re-spread them across the table. The face up Ace of Hearts will show.

Split the spread cards above the Ace of Hearts and place the right hand cards below the left, and deal the face up Ace of Hearts next to the Ace of Spades.

Remark that you have two more aces to find as you spread the top cards over. You need to take a break under the number of cards that you remember from when you inserted the Ace of Spades. In the example given it was five cards, so you would take a break under the fifth card as you close up the spread. Immediately double cut those five cards to the bottom of the deck.

You are now in position to reveal either remaining ace by spelling its name. I start to spell out “A”, “C”, “E”, “O”, “F”, and then ask which ace they would like, Clubs or Diamonds. If they say Clubs, continue to spell clubs and then turn over the next card. If they say Diamonds, continue to spell diamonds and turn over the last card dealt. In each case you reveal the correct card. Place the card with the Ace of Spades and Ace of Hearts.

Now if you spelled clubs, the Ace of Diamonds is the second card down in the un-dealt portion of the deck. If you spelled diamonds the Ace of Clubs is second down in the dealt portion. So combine the two halves so the remaining ace is second from the top.

You can reveal the last ace in a number of ways. A simple slip cut to reveal it, or if you know a convincing force you can force it on the spectator. It is up to you.

I don’t remember where I first learned this. J.C. Wagner has a version titled ¨Revisited Christ Aces” in his DVD “More Seven Secrets.”

Here is a version from youtube: https://youtu.be/_aSzdq9lAcA. Note how the seven is reversed in the action of making packets.

This was one of the first four ace tricks I learned.
