Con la de Osterlind, realizo varios efectos de lectura mental y luego me ofrezco a demostrar cómo un mazo de cartas usa la baraja, barajando las cartas terminando con cuatro ases arriba. Así es como lo hago.

I cut the stacked deck so the Ace of Spades is the top card of the deck. Then cutting the deck at 26 (the Ace of Diamonds) I do an in Faro shuffle. After the in Faro the four aces are at positions 1,2, 11, and 52. Then a simple overhand shuffle sequence brings all four aces to the top.

Under cut and run one card injogged and shuffle off running the last single card to the top (an ace). Cut under the injogged card and run two cards, injog the next and run seven cards then throw the rest on top. Undercut at the injog and run nine cards. Under cut at the injog, run six cards and throw the rest on top. The four aces are now on top, ready for you to do whatever you want.

Note that the run of nine cards is only so that I don’t have an undercut with a throw of the undercut portion. It looks more natural to undercut and run six cards. The number six is just what I use. You have to run at least three cards (the aces) in the previous run. I simply add six more to that step and then get rid of them in the last shuffle.

Here is what the overhand shuffles look like.

What the overhand shuffle looks like after the in Faro.

I use two different stacked decks, the Si Stebbins stack and the Osterlind stack.
