Note where the cards are hitting the in the left hand. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 720\/576;\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>New decks are often too stiff to spring well.&nbsp; A broken in deck is best.&nbsp; Note that the smoother the release the easier it will be to get some distance in the spring.&nbsp; My experience is that you don&#8217;t need a lot of distance to impress an audience.&nbsp; A foot is good enough.&nbsp; You can create an illusion of greater distance by starting your spring to your left and rotating your torso to the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will take some practice.&nbsp;
