I have to admit that I am a cat lover. I can tolerate dogs, some I even like. But cats have my heart. One thing I enjoyed when I was traveling was seeing and taking photographs of cats.

There is something special about life in rural small (really, really small) town America. Watching kids play baseball, in a park with two diamonds, behind one grain elevators and the other nothing but open land as far as the eye can see. Or waking up and the only thing you hear is bird songs. No sirens, or cars, or planes. The most jarring noise is a hungry calf.

New camera – Olympus OM-D
Just bought a new camera, an Olympus OM-D. In 1974 I bought one of the first OM-1 cameras and loved it. It went around the world with me. Eventually I bought a Canon EOS 35mm, and then an Canon 1D digital. But my first love was always the OM-1. So now I have returned to the Olympus brand. Here are some comparison photos.
