The following have interesting back stories

• I was in the U.S. Marine Corps (honorably discharged) for 30 days in 1969.
• I was accepted into the Peace Corps twice (1978, 1994). Both times I was in for two weeks.
• My first trip overseas was to Paris for a two day business trip. I ended up working there for two weeks.
• Subsequent business trips of two month duration\'s were to Munich and Toyko.
• I dabbled in the martial arts in my youth (Kung Fu, Shotokan karate, Tae Kwan Do, Aikido, Judo, Tai Chi).
• I circumnavigated the world once (Portland, Toyko, Hong Kong, Nice, Paris, New York, Portland).
• I have a 1957 MGA roadster and a 1960 Austin Healy 3000 Mark I.
